What we’re looking for:
Riverfolk Publishing is interested in reading most genres but we are particularly excited by all kinds of Fantasy, Slice of Life, GameLit, Sci-fi, Portal Fantasy/Isekai, LitRPG, and Progression.
We prefer series rather than standalones, but we’re always happy to read submissions!

How to submit to us
You do not need to have an agent to submit to us but please let us know in the query if you do. We are currently only accepting completed manuscripts however we may occasionally request works in progress.
If you have a finished manuscript of approx. 70,000 words or more, please send us the following to submissions@riverfolkbooks.com
A covering letter including a short elevator pitch and, if your book is the first in the series, how many books you plan to write in that series.
The first 50 pages of your manuscript in Times New Roman and double spaced.
A 1 page synopsis. Please make sure to include how the book ends!
